The biggest battle to achieve a healthy lifestyle is without a doubt the mental one. If you can conquer the battle for the brain you will find that the rest comes fairly easy. Old habits are hard to break and a common mistake is trying to change your lifestyle from one day to the next. Change must be allowed to take it’s time in order to succeed.
When you have made it a habit to take the stairs instead of the elevator, even though you are carrying heavy groceries and are living on the 5th floor, then you have won. Suddenly it won’t be so difficult to spontaneously throw yourself on the floor and do some push-ups or take the bike to work. It’s with the right attitude you change your life and that you have to do yourself, this is just a nudge in the right direction.
