HOW: Lay flat down on your back. Bring your leg to the side of your body and gently press your foot and knee down towards the bed next to your chest. You should feel a good stretch on the backside of your ass. Keep the tension for about 10 seconds before relaxing a changing legs. Stretch a couple of times on each side.
This little stretch exercise is good for when getting ready for bed and you need to stretch your bottom after a long day at work.
Exercise: Wall push
Situation: In the shower
Feeling a bit stiff in your chest muscles after a few too many push-ups? The wall push is an easy stretch exercise you can do when in the shower.
Lean against the corner and position your arms vertically. Lean into the stretch so you can feel it in your chest. Hold the stretch for about 10 seconds and repeat a couple of times.
Exercise: The sink pull
Situation: In the kithchen
If you have 30 seconds to spare when waiting for water to boil or the micro to finish, then you can use them to stretch your back.
With you right hand, grab hold of the edge of your kitchen top where the sink is and extend your right leg back. Pull the sink towards you and you will feel a great back stretch on your right side. Hold the stretch for about 10 seconds and repeat a couple of times, then switch side.
