Sleepwalker – Upper body workout in bed

Illustration of woman working out in bed
Exercise: Sleepwalker
Situation: In bed
Exercises: Neck, abs & upper arms

HOW: Lift your head and arms slightly off the bed and tense your abs at the same time. This is a static exercise so just hold the position for as long as you can. Try counting to 50. If you managed that then either rest for a few seconds and do another set, or keep counting until you reach 100…or more.

The feeling as you relax after this exercise is unbeatable. You will feel totaly relaxed and can go to sleep knowing that you ended the day on a high note.

Folding knife – Lower abs workout on the couch

Exercise: The folding knife
Situation: On the couch
Exercises: Lewer abs and legs

The lower abs are easy to forget when working your six pack but they are at least as important as the four upper bulges of your core region.

Lean back and position yourself on the edge of the couch. Extend your legs and move them up and down. Don’t touch the floor with your feet. Repeat 20 or so times and do a couple of sets.

It’s a really easy workout but very effective. Do a few sets of these everyday and you will be seeing results in a snap.

Exercise: Arm stretch
Situation: On the can
Stretches: Upper arms

Sit down for some private time and use it to stretch your arms.

With one arm behind your back, apply force with the other hand so you feel tension on the outside of your upper arm. You can lean into the stretch to make it more effective. Hold the stretch for about 10 seconds and switch sides a couple of times.
